Film screening and Workshop with ENTRE Film Center
The River Pierce Foundation will host a special event in partnership with the ENTRE Film Center from 12PM-5:30PM on Saturday, September 27, at the Henry M Martinez Community Center in San Ygnacio. A post-screening mixer will take place following the event from 6PM-9PM at the Trevino-Uribe Rancho.

About the event
As part of its continuing programming supported by the Mellon Foundations Humanities in Place Grant, the River Pierce Foundation will host a special event in partnership with the ENTRE Film Center from 12:00 PM-5:30 PM on Saturday, September 27, at the Henry M. Martinez Community Center (24 FM 3169) in San Ygnacio, TX. The event will feature an experimental film workshop hosted by ENTRE and a free screening of Little, Big, and Far, the new film by acclaimed director Jem Cohen. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring C. Diaz and Monica Sosa of ENTRE, along with Juan Mancias of the Carrizo Comecrudo Tribe of Texas.
The event is free and open to the public.
A post-screening mixer will take place following the event from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM at the Trevino-Uribe Rancho (604 Trevino St) featuring a historical tour, music curated by THE POP ROCKS, and food by Malaquite.
