Class Description:
The San Ygnacio Astronomy & Space Exploration is a one-night opportunity for everyone of ALL AGES to experience a crash course in astronomy (event is contingent on clear skies).
We’re expecting a warm Texas night! Light, breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes are encouraged so you can enjoy your space exploration to the fullest.
What participants will learn:
Basic sky constellations and telescope observing
How space telescopes help us study galaxies, nebulae, black holes, and deep space
Activities include:
Stargazing and guided night sky tour
Telescope viewing (pre-positioned telescopes)
